Google has enacted a new anti-spam measure that hides calendar invites from unknown senders. Google Calendar will now only automatically add meetings to an invitee's calendar if the sender has previously interacted with the sender in Gmail. If your invitees use Google Calendar and you haven't had any previous email interactions with them, they need to click 'I know the sender' and 'Yes' to accept your invitation.
You can add users to your account by first creating a team at https://zcal.co/teams. After you've created a team you'll land on the Members tab. Click the "Invite team member" button to invite a user by email.
Nope! Your friends and colleagues can respond to your scheduling links without signing up for a zcal account. That said signing up for a zcal account can make the scheduling process even faster. Registered users benefit from seeing calendar overlays on invites and polls, allowing them to see their calendar events on the scheduling page without having to switch tabs to check their calendar app.
If your zcal account email is tied to your work or school and you want to change it to your personal email, click the 'Change email' link on the . You'll be guided through a series of steps to confirm your new account email. Once you're done you can login to zcal using your new email address.
Having access to your email is necessary to protect your zcal account. If you no longer have access to the email tied to your account, your best option is to create a new zcal account under another email address.
