Message Length and Credit Calculation
SMS messages are charged in 160-character chunks. If your message exceeds 160 characters, it will use additional credits accordingly:
- 1-160 characters = 1 SMS worth of credits
- 161-320 characters = 2 SMS worth of credits
- And so on...
For example:
- A 150-character message to the US = 10 credits
- A 200-character message to France = 76 credits (2 × 38 credits)
It is advised to keep your reminder messages concise to avoid using multiple SMS chunks
Best Practices
- Write clear, concise reminder messages
- Include essential information only (date, time, and meeting link)
- Set reminders at appropriate intervals (e.g., 24 hours before the meeting)
